While telling the story of Halit Karadağ and his sons, it sheds light on the difficult years from the glorious times of the Ottoman Empire to the years of poverty and misery.

Set in the village of Payidar, the story brings to life the struggles for livelihood, family relationships, love, loyalty and beliefs in the gap between the lives of the rich landlords of the village and the poor people.
