İbrahim Çelikkol was born on February 14, 1982 in İzmit, Kocaeli. Before he started acting, he worked as a professional model. Çelikkol, who was interested in basketball, played in the league and became a young national player. After quitting basketball, Çelikkol received training in acting and meeting Osman Sınav was a turning point in his life. In Osman Sınav's movie Pars: Narcoterror movie shot by Osman Sınav, Çelikkol was given the role of 'superintendent Şamil Baturay'. He then appeared in television series such as M.A.T., Karadağlar and Keskin Bıçak. In the TV series İffet, which started in 2011 and ended on September 24, 2012, he played the leading role of Cemil.
On February 16, 2012, he played the character of Ulubatlı Hasan in the big-budget cinema film Fetih 1453. Between 2013 and 2014, he played Fırat Kazan in the series Merhamet. He played the character of maroon beret Captain Oğuz Ayaz in the Reaction series, which started to play on the screen in 2014, and played the character of Ali Nejat in the Körüğüm series, which started in 2016. Since 2017, he has been married to Mihre Mutlu and has one child.
