Theater, cinema and TV series actor, voice actor. Born July 9, 1983 in Istanbul. After graduating from Kartal Süleyman Demirel Anatolian High School, he graduated from the theater department of Istanbul University State Conservatory. In 2021, he married graphic artist Esra Gülmen.

He first met with the audience with The Disappearing Years. After this series, Şungar was part of the cast of Janjan, directed by Aydın Sayman, and in 2008, he had the opportunity to show his talents to more people with a short role in the second season of Hatırla Sevgili. After appearing in many films and TV series, he starred in the feature film Av: The Hunt in 2019 and played the character Cem in the TV series If I Had My Current Mind in 2020. In 2020 and 2021, he starred in new movies and series. He continues to take part in new projects.
