Gülru was born in a suburb of Istanbul and grew up in the outbuildings of the mansion where her father worked as a gardener. With her big dreams blossoming in the garden of the dazzling mansion, she still has one foot in her humble neighborhood. Gülru, who shuttles between the mansion and the neighborhood, actually has a small world.
Mert, the tough young man of the neighborhood, her childhood sweetheart, Salih, her loving father who dotes on her, her sisters, each of whom is a piece of her life, and her dear friend Cihan, the troubled son of the mansion, are the heroes of Gülru's little world. However, there is one more person around whom Gülru's world revolves. Gülru has admired Gülfem Sipahi, the beautiful girl of the mansion, since her childhood. This admiration, which her family and Mert never approved of, is rekindled when Gülfem returns to the mansion years later.
Gülru tries her best to endear herself to Gülfem, but her path crosses with Ömer Hekimoğlu, Gülfem's great heartbreak. With Gülru and Ömer's extraordinary meeting, dreams and realities are about to be turned upside down in the young girl's little world. As innocent admiration and big dreams are derailed, the war of the roses begins. There is no escape from the war of the roses, neither for the small neighborhood nor for the flamboyant mansion.
