Theater, cinema and TV series actor. Born on May 18, 1972 in Trabzon. He graduated from Selçuk University State Conservatory Theater Department and started his career at Kartal Art Theater. On the theater stage, he took part in the plays Cross Love, Heavy Novel, Air to Water and 2 in 1.
In 1995, he made his film debut in Tunç Başaran's Sen de Gitme Triandafilis. He gave a successful performance in the film and won the Yılmaz Zafer Honor Award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the Yılmaz Güney Honor Award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and the Ankara International Film Festival's Promising New Actor Award. He played the young orphan Yusuf in Derviş (Il Derviscio), based on the 1966 novel Derviş and Death by Bosnian writer Meşa Selimovic. In Serdar Akar's third Maruf, he played Maruf, who is forced by tradition to marry his widowed aunt. In 2007, he played a mafia man in Kabadayı, written by Yavuz Turgul and directed by Ömer Vargı. In the same year, he played a drug addicted expatriate named Ali in İnan Temelkuran's Made in Europe. He was awarded the Best Actor award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival along with 17 other male actors.
