He was born on August 20, 1992 in Istanbul. His mother is of White Russian origin and his father is of Circassian origin.

In 2005, she started acting in commercials. In 2006, she played the character Deniz in the series Yaprak Dökümü. In the same year, she starred in the feature film First Love and was awarded the "Promising Young Actress" award at the Golden Boll Film Festival for her role in this film.

Atagül, who studied at Yeditepe University Theater Department, played the role of Şirin Bakırcı in the television series Hayat Devam Ediyor, which aired between 2011-2013.

She played the lead role with Özcan Deniz in the 2012 film Purgatory, written and directed by Yeşim Ustaoğlu. The actress played the character of Nare in the series Sefirin Kızı, which started airing in December 2019. For her performance in the series Sefirin Kızı, which she had to leave due to health problems, she was awarded the "Best Female Series Actress" award at the Izmir Artemis International Film Festival and the "Best International Female Actress of the Year" award at the International Arab Festival (DIAFA).
