Her father was music The Teacher Selahattin Yücesoy, her grandfather was composer Asım Bey and her aunt was Muazzez Kurdoğlu, a famous actress of Turkish theater. He began his first musical studies at an early age, learning to play the piano under the guidance of his father. During her secondary school education in Istanbul, she was the captain of the school's volleyball team for six years. When she graduated from high school, she was recruited by Rasimpaşa Sports Club, but she had to give up professional sports when art took precedence.

After graduating from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, he started working at the State Theater in 1969. After 6 years, he quit his job due to some problems. She started to perform as a singer in 1975 by evaluating the offers that came in those days.
