Emre Altuğ
Emre Altuğ was born in Istanbul on April 14, 1970 as the second son of a housewife mother and dentist father.
He spent his childhood in Levent and Akatlar. After completing primary school at Şair Behçet Kemal Çağlar Primary School, Altuğ continued his education at Şişli Terakki High School.
Since middle school, Emre Altuğ has been interested in choir, guitar and theater, and after graduating from high school, he entered the Istanbul State Conservatory Theater Department.
In the 90s, he started to work as a vocalist with famous artists of the period such as Sezen Aksu, Nilüfer, Sertab Erener and Levent Yüksel. Altuğ, who did not stay away from the theater while he was a vocalist, acted in various plays in Haldun Dormen theater for 3 seasons.
In the 2000 theater season, she acted in the musical "A Winter's Tale" staged by Haldun Dormen with a large cast including Perihan Savaş, Selçuk Yöntem, Bülent Kayabaş, Nilgün Belgün.
In 1998, he signed with Topkapı Music to record his first album. Two years of work resulted in "Ibret-i Alem". With the success of "Ibret-i Alem" in 1999, he gave more than 100 concerts. With the concert he gave in Silopi, Şırnak, he won the title of the first artist to give a concert.
After her first album, she starred in the movie "Asansör" starring Mustafa Uğurlu and Arzu Yanardağ. She also took part in the "Asansör" soundtrack album with songs with her own lyrics, music and interpretation. Later on, she took part in the project of remaking old Turkish movies and acted in movies such as "Ağaçlar Ayakta Ölür" and "Halk Çocukğu".
He did his military service in Zonguldak in 2001. After his military service, he shared the lead role with Mustafa Uğurlu and Şebnem Dönmez in the movie "Kolay Para", which was released in December
2002.
On February 21, 2003, she released her second album "Sıcak" and in 2004 she released her third album "Dudak Dudağa".
On August 9, 2008, Emre Altuğ married model Çağla Şikel and has two sons, Hüseyin Kuzey (b. October 31, 2009) and Uzay Tuncer (b. March 1, 2012).
The famous couple divorced on January 12, 2015.
