Zafer Ergin
Zafer Ergin was born on August 30, 1942 in Ankara. He graduated from the Faculty of Language History and Geography, Department of Art History. Zafer Ergin, who grew up in Ankara Deneme Sahnesi and joined the State Theater family in 1961, transferred from Ankara State Theater to Istanbul State Theater in 1983.
Until 1988, Zafer Ergin worked as an actor at the Istanbul State Theater and served as the Artistic Director of the Istanbul State Theater between 1998 and 1990 and left the State Theater in 2005. Ergin performed in more than 60 plays with the State Theater. Zafer Ergin, who worked as a guest in musicals at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, also took part in many radio plays.
In the 1970s and 1980s, he dubbed for many foreign films and TV series broadcast on TRT television; in many local TV series and movies, he dubbed for actors such as Cüneyt, Arkın, Ahmet Mekin, Tarık Akan, Mahmut Hekimoğlu.
Zafer Ergin married Melek Baykal in 1975 and divorced four years later. In 1987, he married Binnaz Ergin.
Zafer Ergin, who now gives life to the character of Police Chief Rıza Aksu in the series Arka Sokaklar, which has been broadcast on Kanal D screens since 2006, is 1.78 meters tall, 75 kilograms and Virgo.
