Musician, voice artist, movie and TV series actress, fairy tale writer. Her full name is Türkdeniz Şevval Sam. Born on November 11, 1973 in Istanbul, her mother is singer Leman Sam and her father is Selim Sam. Following in the footsteps of her mother Leman Sam, she had a childhood intertwined with art.

Sam attended primary and secondary school at Hasan Ali Yücel Elementary School and high school at Istanbul Zincirlikuyu Construction Technical and Building Vocational High School in the restoration department. He completed his higher education at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphics. Between 1993 and 1999, she was married to Metin Tekin, the legendary former football player of Beşiktaş nicknamed Sarı Fırtına, and had a son named Tarık Emir from this marriage.
