He is the son of theater and cinema artist Saadettin Erbil. He has made a name for himself with the programs he has done and the movies he has acted in. He took a break from television programs after a live broadcast accident while presenting the program Aşk Olsun on Show TV. He previously starred in the TV series Aşkım Aşkım with Emel Sayın. The son of theater and cinema actor Sadettin Erbil, he completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Ankara and Balıkesir. In 1970, he entered the Ankara State Conservatory Theater Higher Department as a boarding student and won the Best Thespian Award as a guest actor in the lead role at the State Theater during this period. After graduating from here, she started to work at the State Theater and acted in many plays, especially Küheylan, and later on, during the single-channel broadcasting period, she formed a duo with Derya Baykal in the entertainment program Metronom on TRT and with Çiğdem Tunç in 1984. With the opening of private channels, Erbil switched from TRT to Kanal 6. Afterwards, he made TV series on InterStar and ATV and programs on Show TV. After reaching the top with the competition program "Çarkıfelek" on Kanal D and the series "Tatlı Kaçıklar" on ATV, the successful entertainer moved to the big screen with the films "Harakiri" and "Hababam Sınıfı Güle Güle". Recently, he starred in Sinan Çetin's "Mr. E", Gani Müjde's "Kahpe Byzantium" and "Hemşo" directed by Ömer Uğur. Erbil, who is back in front of the audience after a long period of illness, is the host of the program Bir Başka Gece (Another Night) broadcast on TRT. He is currently presenting the program Çarkıfelek (Wheel of Fortune) broadcast on Kanal 1. He is also married and has 3 children.
