In her last year of primary school, she watched Gaetano Donizetti's opera The elixir of love. She fell in love with the soprano and decided to become an opera singer. In 1980, while still a student, she founded Alo Theater. She won an award at the Paris Amateur Theater Festival for her adaptation of Moliere's "Hekim Uçtu".
In 1988, he developed Alo Theater and started to produce plays. In 1989, he founded the Oda Theater with Beliz Ocan as an amateur and in 1990 he formalized it. Alo Theater performed the play A Funny Thing Happened Yesterday for two years. Oda Theater's first play was A Fantasy on the Phantom of the Opera, which he later renamed Bir Ofis Gecesi Rüyası. He then wrote The Last Symphony. Apart from a few plays, he only staged plays he wrote himself. His collaboration with Levent Tayman took the theater to a different place. Written in 1991, The Yerli Malı Aşk consisted of a cast of twenty-five people. During the Ankara tour, when a disagreement arose with the 20-person cast of the Izmir Metropolitan Theater, which they had hired from outside, he changed the play into a one-man play. In time, she changed the title of the play to Women Men Relations Contradictions.
In 2000, he came to Istanbul. He re-staged Jean Bernard-Luc's play Karımla Evleniyorum (I'm Marrying My Wife), which had been performed by Gazanfer Özcan Theater for many years, with cinema tricks. The play was performed for two years. In 2002, as Oda Theater, they stayed on stage for 48 hours with the play "A Fantasy on the Phantom of the Opera" under the main sponsorship of Evita. This record, in which Zihni Dardoğan, the acting 5th Notary of Beşiktaş, became the first notary not to sleep for 48 hours, was not accepted by Guinness records. But it was approved by Orhan Kural. The reason for not being accepted was that the record was started before the Guinness form was signed. But the 48-hour record went down in history with a state certificate. He received the Special Lions Selim Naşit award for this record.
Soner Olgun wrote the play that came to his mind while watching it in one night. The play then continued to develop itself. In the tavern. This play, designed with his close friend Hakan Aysev, was canceled due to the famous tenor's concerts abroad, so he changed the concept. He staged Meyhanede under the sponsorship of Yeni Rakı. The play was set in an Armenian tavern, and for the first few years he performed it in the hall of the Association of the Alumni of Getronagan, serving raki and Armenian appetizers to the audience in a table setting. When the sponsorship of alcoholic beverages was banned, he adapted the play to the theater stage.
In 2012, he opened the Chamber Theater Stage in Istanbul with his close friend and motorcycle companion Uğur Bulut, his assistant for many years Çağla Çolak, his companion Levent Tayman and his son Hakan Erkam.
