After completing her education at Maltepe Anatolian High School and Bilgi University, she was selected as Elite Model Look Ipek in 1999 and Miss Turkey 2nd runner-up in 2000, but she did not appear on the runway except for a charity fashion show and focused on acting. She worked as a presenter in the competition program called Popstar.

She played in the theater play 'Seni Seviyorum'. In the police series Arka Sokaklar, Zeynep Akyüz Ateş, the wife of Murat Ateş played by Uğur Pektaş, became a star with her character Zeynep Akyüz Ateş. She hosted competition programs such as Dancing on Ice, Popstar, Türkstar, Ben Buradan Atlarım and many special nights. Lastly, she played the character of Elizabeth in the series Mehmetçik Kut'ül Amare. On June 19, 2008, she married famous actor Uğur Pektaş in Büyükada. A son named Murathan Pektaş was born from this marriage. The couple divorced in 2011. She is a Thessaloniki immigrant on her mother's side and from Bayburt on her father's side.

He took a break from acting and founded the charity organization "Umuda Koşanlar".
