Deniz Turkali
Deniz Türkali was born in Istanbul on November 15, 1944. Her father is Vedat Türkali. She is the older sister of director and screenwriter Barış Pirhasan. She studied at Nişantaşı Girls' High School and graduated from Şişli College. She was interested in theater while studying in high school. After high school, she won the Conservatory Theater Department and after studying for 2 years, she decided to continue her theater education in London and went to England. In 1964, she met and married Italian singer Ernesto Casalini there.
Deniz Türkali continued her music studies in London along with her theater education. She gave concerts in many countries. After returning to Turkey, she worked as a publishing consultant at Milliyet Publications for a while. She acted in one-woman plays such as "I must find small joys" and "Everything is for sale".
He made programs on radio and television. He acted in cinema and TV movies. He wrote movie scripts. He sang movie music. In addition to theater, he played in cabaret programs. He wrote columns for the magazine "Beyoğlu" and movie reviews of European Union countries for the magazine "Kriter". He has an album titled "Şehvet".
He founded the "Atıf Yılmaz Studio" with Barış Pirhasan and Yavuz Özkan.
