Arzum Onan was born on October 31, 1973 in Ankara, the only child of a civil servant family. She attended primary school in Ankara, middle and high school in Istanbul. She graduated from Ümraniye Industrial Vocational High School, Department of Building Painting. In 1992, she started modeling and modeling at Gaye Sökmen Agency. In April 1993, she was selected as "Miss Turkey" in the "Miss Turkey" contest, and in July of the same year she was selected as "Miss Europe" in the "Miss Europe" contest.

She was in front of the camera for three years with an important advertising campaign. In 1997, she began working on a four-year long, intensive television series (Hot Hours). Since then, she has modeled in private fashion shows, usually for public benefit.
